What if libraries were to disappear off the face of the earth? Would you miss them? Why or why not?
For me libraries are becoming obsolete. Now in the new millennium you can get anything you can get from the library from the internet. However going to the library is a unique experience. In the library you have people that know so much about different books, articles etc...This does not out weight the information you can get from the internet though. Back at home I frequently went to the local library and took out some books, it saved me money because if there wasn't any library I would have had to buy those books in a bookstore or on the internet. So if libraries were to disappear off the face of the earth I wouldn't be devastated but I wouldn't necessarily be happy either.
